Sensors

• NAO has first sensors interactions of 3 tactile areas, lying on top of the head. It is also equipped with two infrared LEDs and two bumpers. Its 8 resistive pressure sensors beneath its feet allow it to remain stable.




It has also :

• a accelerometer, sensor which allows it to measure its linear acceleration in 3 orthogonal axes

• two gyrometers which allow calculation of its rotational speed (angular velocity)

• sonar with two ultrasonic sensors (transmitted / receivers)
• more than 20 engines
