- Full 8 pins of Port C can be used on a 16F1937 device
- RC0-RC7 can be used as digital inputs
- RC0-RC7 can be used as digital outputs
- PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is possible on RC1 and RC2
- Port C also contains a USART (Universal Synchronous - Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) and a MSSP (Master Synchronous Serial Port) for serial communication
- The pins of Port C are mapped on the 16F1937 microcontroller as on this drawing
- The pins of Port C are connected to the 9-pin D-type connector of Port C on the Multiprogrammer board.
This port is connected to the rest of the PICmicro internals by an 8-bit bus system.
